Frets and neck are good but full restoration could require a fret job. Tuners and gears appear to be original with some minor rust. The original pickguard was removed but the pickguard mounting hardware and pickguard are in the case and comes with the mandolin. It appears to have the original strap peg on the tailpiece, but another chromed metal peg was added by me on the lower part of the body below the neck for a strap attachment. The nut width is 1 1/4" and the fretboard length is 10 1/4 inches. Some minor repair work was to the base of the body of the mandolin by previous owners.
